NJ 101.5 D&D promos!

Here are the first batch of Deminski & Doyle promos from WKXW. Also included is the first minute or so of Steve Trevelise & Jeff Edelstein filling in from yesterday afternoon. Despite the initial rocky start, these guys were quite funny and easy to listen to yesterday. Hopefully Jeff and Bill have them back on in the future.

Afternoon drive on NJ 101.5 this week

Looks like columnist Jeff Edelstein of The Trentonian newspaper and comedian / late-night WIP-AM radio host Steve Trevelise are filling in this week while Jeff and Bill get ready for their debut next week. Listening now -- they're having a pretty fair and interesting (and funny!) discussion about New York's new gay marriage law.

Feel free to contact the station to say that you're enjoying the conversations this week and you're looking forward to the return of D&D!

They're baaaaaaack!

Returning to the place where it all began 18 years ago, Jeff Deminski & Bill Doyle are going back on the air at WKXW, New Jersey's 101.5-FM. Beginning Tuesday, July 5th, the newest (re-)incarnation of the Deminski & Doyle Show will air weekdays from 2pm-7pm (FIVE hours??) and will be simulcasted on the web and on various smartphone apps (click here for instructions). Reaction has been mixed; fans of the show they are replacing, The Jersey Guys (featuring former WKRK shock-jock Casey Bartholomew), are understandably upset, but Jeff and Bill have plenty of old listeners from their last tour at WKXW who are excited to have them back. Local media has (as far as I can tell) yet to cover the change, while insider publications are pretty much echoing each other (see here, here, here, and here).

It is unclear at this time if NJ1015.com will offer podcasts of any sort; there doesn't appear to be much in the way of archived audio on their website currently. So until someone tells us to stop, the plan is to try our best to get the show audio up here by the next morning. Keep tabs on the latest show news via Jeff's Facebook page and/or the D&D Yahoo Group -- and of course the official nj1015.com D&D page linked above.
