The Christie candidacy was officially launched today. Whether it is a campaign for Vice President or a re-election campaign for Governor has yet to be seen, but the first ten minutes of the interview with D&D during the 5:00 hour was spent on attacking New Jersey Democrats as well as Barack Obama on their tax policies. Christie finally moved on to "education reform" -- which is Republican code for attacking public schools, teachers unions, and low-income students. He also took on gay marriage (his answer was surprisingly non-committal), the possibility of a VP bid, and the upcoming NJ-101.5 town hall.

Other topics covered included a discussion on concert riders, listeners' experience with the homeless and homelessness, a debate about the disabled New Jersey child who is being denied a kidney transplant, and home birthing / unusual birth locations.

Other topics included a poll about the angriest place in New Jersey, contestant entries for what appears to be an upcoming in-studio "Stupid Pet Tricks" contest, a split hour with a debate about parenting styles and caller suggestions for strange places to do the nasty in Jersey, a story about a failed police search for drugs that caused $12,000 of damage to a car, and a discussion about the morality and legality of snooping on your significant other.
