Filling-in in N'awlins and Blast from the Past #11

Still without full-time work (and still making fun of that fact), Jeff Deminski and Bill Doyle got yet another chance last week to fill in for a couple days on yet another right-wing talk station, this time WRNO "Rush Radio" 99.5-FM out of New Orleans (I hope someone told Bill that this isn't the radio home of Geddy Lee). Podcasts can be found of both days' shows here -- D&D sub-hosted on March 3 and March 4, even though the normal hosts' names (Castner & Carty) appear on the podcasts. The end of the 8am hour on the 3/3/11 podcast is missing (it's only about eight minutes long), but the remainder of the rest of the shows are there.

We also have another treat for the half-dozen or so people who still visit this blog -- one more long-lost cassette tape of Deminski & Doyle from New Jersey's 101.5, WKXW. Thanks go out one more time to our "Cousin Vinny" from New Jersey. It's about a half-hour long and consists mostly of part of a Match Game "Friday Game" segment and the 1998 version of the "Twelve Days in Jersey" Christmas song parody. NOTE: The previous "Twelve Days in Jersey" segment we hosted was actually from 1997, not 1998.

All of the previous late-90's WKXW segments that have been supplied to us are still available -- the links still appear to work, just drop a comment if they don't and we can reupload.

P.S. Forgot to mention WCSX's recent slap in the face to D&D with Match Game-style tweets here and here...
