We've got good news and bad news about the 5pm hour from today. The bad news is there was a webstream outage (on all of our sources) from about 5:30 (just before the new mid-hour newsbreak) until about 5:50 (during a commercial break), so there's about 15 minutes of "show" missing. We recorded the "D&D Rewind" that airs from 3am-5am, but the 5pm hour was not reaired. BUT DO NOT DESPAIR! The good news is audio stream came back online just before the debut of the 2011 version of the "12 Days in Jersey" song -- download it by itself here!
Other topics from today included a third straight hour (dating back to yesterday) on the proposed NTSB cell phone-while-driving ban, a debate about a gay penguin book that Deminski's first-grade son brought home, some listener stories about performing self-surgery (*coughSuperSizeScottcough*), a partial segment (see above) on "taking Christ out of Christmas," and a discussion about proposed changed to New Jersey's marriage licensing law.

I'm here in Detroit and just found you guys live in NJ. This is the first time in Many years to hear the show in the afternoon. Even thou you are not in Detroit...it's great to hear you live in Detroit.
