D&D - July 3, 2012

Hope everyone is having a happy Fourth!  D&D are off for the holiday and will be back on Thursday.  The topics from Tuesday were all pretty lighthearted.  They started with two split hours, taking calls on listeners' work schedules for the holiday, experiences with "mascot jobs," getting hit on by someone of the same gender, and amateur fireworks.  A hilarious hour on strange celebrity crushes followed, and a tribute to Andy Griffith rounded out the normal part of the show.  We finished with a rare mid-week round of Tribond; I thought for a moment that Jeff and Bill would be off for the rest of the week, but Doyle finished the show by saying, "See you on Thursday."

P.S. It looks like Joe V. may be quickly becoming the "new Rudy" (remember "Rudy's Gay News" from 11/7/07?) after all the gay cracks from the 3:00 hour!  Just to even the score, go to the bottom of this post and check out the random (mostly homo-erotic) mashups we made back in 2009, including the "Guy Love" remix.  There's also the recent "I'm Sexy and I Joe It" and "Jeff Smellin' 86" songs from this year.

P.P.S. Bill was ragging on Jeff again for his recent date / non-date...I wonder if this has something to do with it? ;)
