Sad news yesterday regarding the four teens who died in Roseville and the dead actress who I had never heard of. Our condolences go out to their families. Pretty low-key show today -- to be expected when Doyle was the only one who didn't have a hangover. Site note -- anyone know why he doesn't drink anymore? Top o' the mornin' to y'all...happy St. Patrick's Day! D&D were broadcasting live from Dooley's today. Y'all enjoy your imbibing -- safely, please. WCSX will actually be out and about all day at various drinkin' spots throughout Metro Detroit today. D&D had fun this morning -- Rudy got to drink on the air and Nicole Salem dressed up as a naughty cop and will be passing out "hydration citations" all day at each of the 'CSX locations. D&D - Mar 11, 2009
D&D broadcast their entire show today from the Palace of Auburn Hills where the Pistons Care Telethon benefiting Feed the Children was taking place. Here are a few people they talked to today:
1. AARON AFFLALO (podcast) - The Detroit Pistons and WCSX devoted the entire to to benefitting Feed The Children. D&D spoke with Pistons Aaron Afflalo live at the Palace.
2. CURLY NEAL (podcast) - While broadcasting live at the Palace for the Pistons Care Telethon, Curly Neal, of the Harlem Globetrotters sat down to chat with D&D. We learned that Jeff is not capable of twirling a basketball on his finger, no matter how much Curly tried to help him.
3. RICK MAHORN (podcast) - In a day dedicated to raising money for Feed The Children, D&D got the chance to sit down and chat with Piston’s Great Rick Mahorn.
4. TOM WILSON (podcast) - While at the Palace of Auburn Hills for the Pistons Care Telethon benefitting (sic) Feed the Children, D&D got to talk to Pistons president Tom Wilson.
