D&D - Sept 2, 2009

D&D continue with their expansion of the best part of the show -- the call-in segments. Three of the five from today made it onto WCSX.com as official podcasts. Of the two that didn't, one is related to link #1 below (the guys took calls from folks who had stories about Michigan-based urban legends) and the other was suggestions for a list of the hottest women in music. Jeff followed up his karaoke debut (listen to the opening of the show) with a diet and nutrition quiz that he and Jim "Susan Boyle" O'Brien took -- this after they realized that the two of them weighed more than the other four D&D crewmembers combined! Other topics from today included some local stories (a Daily Show-style report on Rep. Gary Peters' townhall, a blurb about another ballsy, lawsuit-happy criminal, and a report on a kleptomaniacal mailman), an update on the California kidnapper (for the third day in a row), an Oddball story about a hungry police dog, and segment on Sony's new 3D-TV. 4. 5. RUDY AND THE JET SKI (CONT'D) (podcast) - 2 weeks after Rudy moved into his new house his friend decided to store a beat up jet ski in Rudy's garage...There was a 2 week time limit...Starting July 21st...It's now been over a month and the jet ski is still there...So we decided to see if we could help Rudy get rid of the jet ski by holding an auction involving the listeners...
