This show started out pretty slow, but it did mark an important moment in D&D history. Rudy mentioned his possible move to LA (Cutural Learnings of Mindcandy for Make Benefit Glorious Nation of Italy) for the first time inspiring listeners to call in an offer words of wisdom (and resumes). Callers also introduced Jeff into the world of wine-tasting parties, provided their opinions on men's skin care products, and recalled their childbirth experiences after Deminski started the show on a down note by bringing up his friend's Down's Syndrome baby-to-be. Other topics covered included Doyle's addiction to weird gadgets, a check-in with the upcoming D&D in-studio Curry cook, a call to Jeff's horny Aunt Marty, and a partial interview with Rob Parker about the new Pistons' coach, Flip Saunders (the show got cut off during this interview). Y'know what's funny? Jeff's New Jersey accent seems almost as strong in 2005 as it did in 1999, much more so than last year.

P.S. Got an e-mail comment regarding the filehosting sites we use. Yes, Sharebee is a pain in the ass with all its ads (tip: hit Esc or Stop on your web browser as soon as the 4-5 links load) and the free one-click filehosters are annoying as they only allow one simultaneous download and have timers before the downloads start. But I've never put any money into this blog (save the initial investment in a good webstream recorder) nor have I received any from it. I'm even hesitant to put ads on here -- putting aside the fact that there's not enough traffic to raise any funds, the content on here isn't mine, it belongs to D&D, so I wouldn't feel right making anything off of it, even if the funds went to a better hosting site. That's also the reason behind leaving some commercials in the WCSX shows and building up that long list of advertisers you see to your left. Now if anyone has any server space they'd care to donate, that'd be a wholly different matter. :)
