D&D - July 22, 2011
Well, other than being a little "commercial heavy", this was perhaps the boys' best show since returning to the airwaves. All we needed were a couple of out of context "Gay Rudy" drops and an angry Beaver rant, and I'd have swore that this was the show I loved from the 97.1 days. This was a VERY interactive episode for callers, with less "local themes" and more everyday "Two guys at the end of the bar" type subjects.
Topics for today's broadcast included listener suggestions for drops to be played in the new "Jersey-Centric" intro, a horrible bet Jeff made as to whether or not it was really "hot enough outside to fry an egg", a heated argument Jeff got into with a local full service Jersey gas station attendant, a familiar topic (to the Detroit listeners) in the pros & cons of drive-in theaters, and at Fiday Night... 6 o'clock... The triumphant return of Tribond! ("Duck Song" included!)
