D&D - Nov 4, 2009

Holy crap, that's a lot of podcasts! Hope y'all listened to the 8am hour, though, 'cuz that didn't get represented in the podcasts. Topics missed included a list of sexy male accents (Rudy's fake Arabic accent was not on the list), a story about stress on today's youth, an article about a dad narc'ing on his pot-growing daughter, and an interview with new Detroit City Councilman Gary Brown. Web-worthy topics were, as chosen by voters all across the country from WCSX.com:

1. BABY HIT BY TRAIN (video) - In a heart-stopping split second, an Australian mother watches as her 6-month-old son rolls onto a train track and under an oncoming train -- and escapes with just a scratch.
2. SAMUELSEN ON SPORTS (videos) - More updates from Jamie -- Daily show clip about douchey fans and an update on Brett Favre's groin.
3. JOE CADA (podcast) - D&D talked to Joe Cada - of Shelby Twp. Joe is at the final table in the World Series of Poker!!
4. MARK PORTER (podcast) - D&D spoke with the lawyer for UPS driver, Steve Mojica, who was fired for refusing to deliver a package containing marijuana, and then opening it.
5. GARY BROWN (podcast) - The whistleblower who was dragged through the mud by former mayor Kwame Kilpatrick - has been elected to city council.
6. CHARLES PUGH (podcast) - Charles Pugh, former reporter, is now Charles Pugh, the Detroit City Councilman! D&D call to congratulate him and get his reaction to the election.
7. JIM NANTZ (podcast) - This guy owes his ex a whopping $916,000 per year until he dies or until she remarries. Isn't alimony a thing of the past?
8. SWINE FLU SCARE (podcast) - Apparently the D&D Morning Show have all been exposed to the Swine Flu. We blame Jeff.

It wouldn't bother me if the sports were missing out of every hour, every day. I do understand that it takes a lot of time to edit the podcasts and I appreciate you providing these links everyday.

Thanks for the thanks, J :) I know it can be a pain to listen to dated sports & traffic reports, but I like to keep it all together for continuity's sake. And every once in a while there's something funny that happens during sports or traffic. Here's a link to the program I use to edit the audio if you want to modify it -- honestly, when I go on long car trips or when I go to the gym I'll sometimes take some D&D audio and edit out the commercials, sports, and traffic.
