Hope everyone had an enjoyable holiday weekend. Fellow Detroit folks had a bit of a double whammy -- the Lions lost (no surprise!) a close game (surprise!) on Thanksgiving and local radio duo Dave & Chuck the Freak up and left their gig at 89x for another soon-to-be-named local station, but not until after a six-month non-compete clause is up. Sound familiar?
Anyway...topics from today included listeners' suggestions for the best "Mall" Santas in Jersey, a funny segment on film continuity mistakes, half-hour debates on the Seaside Heights' submerged rollercoaster, free beach tags for post-Sandy beach towns, the Black Friday / Cyber Monday phenomenon, and Chris Christie's reelection plans, as well as a fantasy hour about what callers would do if they won the $425 million Powerball jackpot.
