Ugh dammit...looks like we may need to find yet another file hosting site. Rapidshare changed their "traffic model" for free accounts and we only get 1gb per day of public access. If you receive a message stating "Download not available - File owner's public traffic exhausted," it means that the 1gb limit has been reached. According to the site, the daily limit resets every day at midnight Central European Time (or 4pm EST) so try to download the file(s) again after then.
Conversely, if you have a Rapidshare account (even a free one), drop me an e-mail at deminskidoylefan -at- lycos -dot- com and I'll add you as a Rapidshare contact which will give you unlimited access to the files...I think. I'm still trying to test that feature out. Save for the audio recording program I bought back in 2008, I've never spent a dime on this blog but that may have to change if I can find an affordable (and reliable) webhosting site. Even if that happens, I'm never going to charge for acces or ask for monetary donations or anything like that -- mainly because we don't own the audio (NJ 101.5 does) and I don't want to get into the issue of charging for something that someone else owns...
...but...if someone has some web space they'd be willing to donate, that I would accept. :^)
Topics from today included a poll on the best (and worst) Christmas songs, callers' stories about what they lost to Hurricane Sandy, listeners' admissions about pets they didn't get along with, more Powerball jackpot fantasies, and a "Battle of the Sexes" debate over which gender can produce the best creepers.
