No show yesterday due to the holiday. Anyone want a recording of 3-4 hours of classic rock from yesterday morning? Then again, no -- we should still be boycotting them for truncating the D&D show. The least they could have done was to make a Best Of show. I guess this sets the precedent for future D&D vacation days. Anyway...here are a few (sparse) topics from today's show, courtesy (mostly) of WCSX.com:
1. BANK LINES (podcast) - Jeff Deminski recieved an e-mail from a listener that got into an argument with another driver about forming a line at a bank's drive through window. It turned into a heated debate because not even the members of the D&D show can seem to agree on this one! Help us out - who's right?
2. CHRIS CHELIOS (podcast) - Chris Chelios took a few minutes to call in and talk Red Wings play off hockey with D&D. Game 5 happens this this Friday. LET’S GO RED WINGS!!
3. ARE MOMS JUST NOT CAREFUL ENOUGH? (podcast) - Nevaeh Buchanan, 5 was last seen Sunday evening with her mother's boyfriend - who sources say is a registered sex offender that has a court order to stay away from children. Neveah's mother told authorities that she KNEW her boyfriend's sex offender status. This begs the question - why would the mother of a 5 year old date a registered sex offender who has been ordered to stay away from kids under 17?
4. WINGS TICKETS (Wikipedia) - D&D rounded up some contestants for tomorrow's Red Wings tickets contest - Ken Daniels will call play-by-play while listeners try to score on Rudy (with a puck).
