D&D - June 4, 2009

Wonder how much money Deathpool Dave won with David Carradine (best known for Kung Fu)? Maybe I should start playing along -- I need another fantasy "sport" now that hockey season is almost over. Speaking of hockey, my prediction for tonight is 5-2 Wings, Pavel gets back on the board with a pair of goals, including the game winner. And your lotto numbers for today are 4, 8, 15, 16, 23, and 42.

Segments from the show (not podcasted by WCSX) included a rundown of various meaningless school year graduations, an origins of band names quiz, another round of the Failtrain known as Play the Numbers, a story about an "OBGYN practicing his love for women," and some dental horror stories shared with Nicole on her final day with her wisdom (HAHA irony!) teeth. 1. MAKE NICOLE CRY, WIN A PRIZE (podcast) - D&D's traffic reporter Nicole Salem will be having all 4 (impacted) wisdom teeth r[e]moved tomorrow morning. Not only has she never had a tooth pulled - she's never even had a cavity! So it's safe to say she's terrified. Being good pals, D&D invited their listeners to call in with their worst dental horror stories. The first one to make Nicole cry gets a prize. Nicole will be forwarding the bill from her therapy to D&D.
2. ROD ALLEN (podcast) - Fox's Rod Allen called in to give D&D listeners his weekly Tiger's Baseball report. Oh yeah - Rod would really appreciate it if you checked him out on Twitter.
3. JON HEFFRON (podcast) - Comedian Jon Heffron joined D&D in studio today. Jon will be appearing at the Ann Arbor Comedy Showcase this weekend. John is no stranger to Detroit - he was born here!
4. THINGS YOU DON'T WANT TO KNOW (podcast) - You know that expression "TMI?" As in "Too much information?" At some time or another, we will all run into someone that finds the need to give us too many details. [Listen for what Deminski did to his mom...]
