D&D - Oct 15, 2009

Seems like it's back to basics for D&D. They managed to have a classic-rock related interview (#3 below) without playing a "cut" from Bob Seger, there was a psuedo-"What's Normal" segment about man-bags and carrying purses ("I ain't gay or nothin'!"), and D&D let callers chime in with their opinions on the Ashley Madison Agency right after interviewing its founder (#4 below). The show was opened with another call-in segment -- Jeff told a story about racial profiling at retail locations. Rudy cracks aside, he had an interesting point, but I reeeeally hope D&D doesn't devolve into a Crossfire-style, left (Deminski) vs. right (Doyle) political show. I highly doubt that'll ever happen, but then again I was highly doubtful we'd ever see D&D spinning records. Other topics mentioned on the show today included a list of a few olden days-style "shitty jobs," a local story about a thug using his mom as his wheelman (stay classy, dude), and some predictions about the upcoming Michael Jackson movie, "Squeezing Money From a Corpse." 3. GARY GRAFF AND TOM WESCHLER (podcast) - Our Classic Rock Insider, Gary Graff, and Tom Weschler were in studio to talk about their new Bob Seger book, "Travelin' Man."
4. NOEL BIDERMAN (podcast) - D&D talked to Noel Biderman, the founder of AshleyMadison.com, a website that helps married people hook up with other married people...to cheat.
5. UNEXPECTED NUDITY (podcast) - D&D have a bet going. And poor Jeff STILL hasn't learned not to make bets with Bill. The bet involves how many people they can get to call in that have accidently seen someone else naked.
6. UNEMPLOYMENT IN MICHIGAN (podcast) - Michigan's unemployment rate is 15.3%. D&D took calls from listeners who are unemployed, to get their perspective on the situation, and talk about what it's really like to not have a job to go to every day.
