D&D - Oct 19, 2009

There were a couple amusing segments from the beginning of today's show that didn't end up on the website -- Deminski probably vetoed the corqphinorshing podcast and the "family fights" discussion ended on too much of a down note after Wingasaurus called in -- but the vast remainder of the show was again podcasted. This again leaves me in the precarious position of a procrastinating college student up against a rigid deadline trying to feverishly bullshit his way through a 3,000-word essay by repeatedly punctuating every single noun with a bright adjective and going off on more nonsensical tangents than a high-school trigonometry textbook. Alright, enough of that. Web-worthy topics from today were, as selected by the Bulwer-Lytton nominees over at WCSX.com:

4. BALLOON BOY! (podcast) - A lot is coming out about Mr. and Mrs. "Balloon Boy." Now it appears charges WILL be brought against them. All for a reality show? Really!? [Lee Cowan of NBC News was also on the show briefly to talk about "Attic Boy.")
5. ANTHONY BOZZA (podcast) - Today D&D spoke to Anthony Bozza - who wrote a book titled "Why AC/DC Matters." The book is about whay Anthony thinks that AC/DC is the greatest band. EVER.
6. WILL THE DRUNK KNOW IT? (podcast) - D&D sent Jenny the intern to a bar last night to for game called "Will the drunk knowit?” It's drunken fun that everyone [even Jenny!] can enjoy - even for those of us who are sober!
